Drivers Licence Requirements
When collecting the vehicle from our local supplier all drivers will need to provide a full driving licence in their name. For UK drivers with the new style licence, both the paper & photo parts maybe required. If any driver has held their licence for less than one year or has any serious endorsements, please call our team as there may be restrictions on renting. Please note an International Driving Licence/Permit does not replace the requirement for a regular driving licence. If using an international licence/permit, a full driving licence in the principal driver's name will still be mandatory in order to rent the vehicle.
Security Deposits
Please note that our local supplier will normally require a security deposit at the start of the rental to cover the insurance excess & fuel, this will normally be an amount blocked on the credit card of the main driver (If our supplier offers a zero excess insurance a swipe of your card will be obtained however no money will be taken). The security deposit is returned at the end of the rental provided the car is returned in the same condition as rented. CASH OR DEBIT CARD DEPOSITS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. On collecting the vehicle please be sure to inspect the vehicle for any damage & report any problems to the local supplier before departing the location. We also recommend checking the vehicle with our local supplier when returning to ensure any damage is agreed.
Renter’s Responsibility
All rentals are charged on a 24 hour basis. A full day is still charged for any portion of a 24 hour period used. The renter is responsible for all tolls, congestion charges, parking & traffic fines. If you are collecting your vehicle from an airport you should advise Enjoy Car Hire of your arrival flight number on booking the vehicle, or as soon as possible. Enjoy Car Hire will not be held responsible if the vehicle is not provided or available due to late arrival of flights if your flight number has not been provided.
Complaints
We hope that your booking will be enjoyable and trouble-free. However, if you do encounter any problems please speak to our car rental provider at the Rental Desk initially to try resolving them. Should you remain dissatisfied, please contact Enjoy Car Hire on 01603 821110 or +441603 821110, we will provide as much assistance as we can. PLEASE NOTE: If you do not take these steps, it is very hard for us to deal with issues that are raised after your rental has ended and we may not be able to fully resolve them. If you take these steps and wish to follow up your complaint when you get home you must write to Enjoy Car Hire at customersupport@enjoycarhire.com within 28 days of your return. You will receive an acknowledgement of your email within a 3 working days and we endeavour to answer all customer service queries within 28 days of receiving them. Sometimes we can experience delays if we are liaising with the suppliers. To help us process your query quicker please provide Enjoy Car Hire with your reservation number and include all paperwork from the supplier relating to your rental if possible.
Amendments
Enjoy Car Hire unlike other brokers offer FREE amendments to all bookings.
Cancellations
Any cancellations made after 48 hours of placing the booking will be subject to no refund; this also applies to bookings that are cancelled 48 hours or less before the rental is due to start. This also applies to no shows; including non-receipt of vehicle due to insufficient documentation. Enjoy Car Hire is unfortunately not able to refund any unused days or part days if the vehicle is returned early on any rental. Some of our car rental partners may agree on some compensation but this is not guaranteed and is at their discretion.
Insurance
All rentals includes collision damage waiver & theft protection. You maybe required to leave a deposit to the value of the insurance excess (in cases of zero excess a swipe of your credit card will be a taken for security reasons but no amount taken) when collecting the vehicle. If the vehicle is damaged during the rental, you will be charged up to a maximum of this amount. In the event that the renter has behaved recklessly or negligently or driven under the influence of drugs or alcohol you may be liable for the full cost. Please note in common with most insurance policies there are exceptions to the insurance cover which may include windscreens, tyres, the underside or interior of the vehicle, towing charges & replacement keys. Please check your agreement fully at the time of renting for exact exclusions. Please note a number of insurance options may be available to buy locally which reduce your risk or can provide further cover to you & your belongings these are made clear in the rate details on the quote screen.
Fuel Policies
Enjoy Car Hire work with a number of suppliers and the fuel policy differs per supplier and can be found in the "rate details" section of the quote screen. In all cases fuel is not included in the final price quoted.
Cancellation Protection
Cancellation Protection is available to purchase on the final stages of the booking process and can only be purchased at the time of the booking. If Cancellation Protection is purchased, a full refund of the deposit (exluding the amount taken for Cancellation Protection) will be given. In case of a no-show we are unable to refund any money. The Cancellation Protection is charged at 0.50 EUR per rental day.
